Changing up the workouts

Australia Day long weekend was last week and since that break I have not been motivated to work out. I went to gym yesterday morning for cardio and then Zumba in the evening. This morning I was exhausted and didn't get up until 8:30am! When I don't start off my day with a workout, I get extra lazy. I had to push myself this evening to get active. I've had the Biggest Loser challenge game for wii for a few years now. I popped it on and did a 45 minute full body workout am exhausted!!! It's like having a personal trainer in my TV. It's an excellent program! What's your favourite at home workout?

Mission Eurotrip!

For those of you who don't follow my new blog, I am heading back to malta and Europe at the end of July! I am so excited, and I am so motivated to lose a huge chunk of weight before then. I leave on July 24th. I booked last week so I've already created a timeline of my goals by then! I started January 21st, exactly a week ago. I've set my goal to lose between 15-20kg by then (26 weeks) Last week I started hitting the gym hard. I've been going for 45-60 minutes in the morning before work, then back to the gym after work for more cardio and weights or a class. On Saturdays I have been going to a bootcamp with my old personal trainer. I've been wearing my bodymediafit band 23 hours a day! And I find that wearing my polar heart rate monitor is a huge incentive for me to keep working and competing against myself. My diet hasn't been fantastic, however I have been keeping track of all my calories and making sure that if I don't eat the best, I workout more....

New year, new blog, new me

Happy new year everybody! Can't believe 2012 is over and done with. In 2012 I got my first full time job, bought my first brand new car and spent an amazing month in America. I also joined the gym and got my groove back...that was until I went to America, ate a whole lot of crap and enjoyed myself over the holidays. 2013 is a brand new year and in 2014 I will be turning 25. Therefore, it is a huge year for me. My goals: - to lose the rest of this weight. Goal weight by 25 = 65kg - get back to the gym and find a new personal trainer - move out of home! - find love! ( haha cheesy I know) So new year means new blog. I've been blogging here for a few years now but it's getting old. Come follow my journey through 2013 before I turn 25! alyce2013.blogspot.com

Finally home! I have been in the USA for the past four weeks and having the best time We went to LA, San Fran, Vegas, New York and Chicago I absolutely fell in love with New York. The most amazing city!! I ate and drank like crazy but surprisingly lost 1kg! I was so active, walking everywhere and cycling through central park...and I was also using the gym at the hotel I ate and ate and ate! In-n-Out burger, NY pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, Giradelli chocolate, Giordanos deep dish pizza pie...the list goes on! I was seriously expecting to have gained 10kg, so I was ecstatic when I realised I had actually lost weight! I went for a fill this afternoon and my doctor was so proud of me. I arrived on Saturday and was straight back at the gym on Sunday morning. I am so determined to lose the rest of this weight. 2013 will be an amazing year!!

Loss!

Finally, a good loss! Since my fill on Wednesday I have lost a kilo and I'm still on my period, so hopefully it will be an awesome loss by next Wednesday! I've been sticking to liquids until Monday just in case I get stuck and need to take fluid out. In the past I've been caught out on weekends in a lot of pain needing a removal and having to wait until Monday I have been making amazing smoothies and eating yummy greek yoghurt and have not actually been hungry or craving I hope, and I am crossing all my fingers and toes, that this is my sweet spot! 12WBT Progress

I haven't been a very good blogger lately! I have been flat out at work and very rarely have time to hop onto the internet other than to check my emails! Yesterday was my week 5 weigh in for the 12WBT and I gained 500grams. I know I haven't been strict with my diet but I have still be working out daily. I'm not making excuses, but I'm hoping it's just period bloating!! I've been sticking to most of the main meals of the 12WBT plan, but have been completely off track with the snacks. I've succumbed to all the junk food that mum is constantly bringing into the home. I don't know why I choose junk over healthy, nutritious snacks. It could be laziness but I don't think it's self sabotage.  I watched Mish's videos about self sabotage last night and it really got me thinking. I have a history of depression and physical self harm. My whole life, I never felt worthy. When I had previously lost a lot of weight, I think I became over-confi...
