As the queen of the plateau, I can confirm that if you keep doing everything right you will eventually fall off the edge but it can be almost impossible to convince your body to do so. I usually have to change something big for a day or two. More sleep, more water, skip lunch, dinner before 6 pm, liquid dinner. The most important things though are to stay on track, exercise and steer clear of the alcohol until you off the plateau again.
Thanks ladies! I'm not going to stress too much over it. I'm changing up my workout routine and hopefully that helps. it just gets frustrating when you work so hard but dont get results!
It has been a while but I am back! I spent 6 awesome weeks in Europe and now I'm back to get rid of a bit of holiday weight and work off the last 15-20kg that I aim to lose I currently weigh 76.8kg I got a fill last week and my doctor was very proud that I'd lost 10kg since seeing her last I'm eating really slowly and trying to eat as clean as possible I just lack motivation to go the gym as much as I used to Prior to going overseas, I was waking up early and going to the gym before and after work everyday except Saturday Since being home, I do an hour at the gym 3-4 times a week I'm hoping to weigh around 60-65kg by my 25th birthday at the end of January Would love to re-engage and get back into blogging!
Hi everyone I am now officially banded :D I feel great and so glad it's all over Here's a recap of how it went... Yesterday dad took me to the hospital at 8.15am We waited in the day stay ward until about 11.30am when they called me into theatre The surgeon, anaesthetist and nurses were amazing I was terrified of the IV, but it didn't hurt one bit! I got wheeled into theatre at about 12.30 because the surgeon had a bit of a problem with the patient before me Got a bit nervous in the theatre but everyone was so great The anaesthetist and his assistant told me I would feel a cool sensation through my body and a bit of liquid in my mouth.... And then I was awake in recovery! The recovery nurses were wonderful. I woke up pretty much straight away and started chatting to them and smiling thanking them all that it was over The surgeon said everything went as planned and it was an easy procedure so I guess optifast did it's work :P Although I was a bit groggy, I was still able...
People who deliberately try to rain on your parade! First of all, sorry about the constant posting. I'm fairly addicted to the internet and I had an assignment due so I was procrastinating all morning and putting it off :P But I really just need to vent, and I'm sure you guys will understand why once you read what happened to me today Well as some of you might know, I work at a medical clinic and the doctors are all so sweet and are constantly telling me how proud they are of me. I enjoy working at the clinic however there is alot of bitchiness between the receptionists and some of them really frustrate me. Last week there was a new receptionist who I found out had lap band and she was such a great help. So I go in to work today and for some reason she was unable to work so there was another lady there. I really can't stand working with this particular receptionist. She is snobby and bitchy and lazy. She is constantly on the phone, never doing work, while I'm running a...
